It draws water from the skimmers and main drain, pushes it through the sand or cartridge filter to remove dirt and debris, and returns clean water to the pool. Good circulation also spreads chlorine evenly and keeps the water clear and safe to swim in.
Pecol pool pumps have a built-in strainer basket that catches leaves and hair before they reach the impeller, and a graphite / silicon carbide mechanical seal for long, leak-free running. Variable speed models run slowly for daily filtration and switch to high speed for backwashing or vacuuming, which cuts electricity use.
NST and NSL(T) variable speed pumps use a light, quiet and highly efficient PMSM motor.

Standard pumps self-prime up to 3 m, so they can sit above the water line.
