Hybrid heat pump: heat pump + electric booster
Every Pecol heat pump water heater has a backup electric element. In ECO mode only the heat pump runs, giving the lowest bill. In HYBRID mode the heat pump and the element work together for faster heating, for example when guests stay over. The DC inverter split model can reach 75°C in hybrid mode.
Air-con waste heat reclaim (Pecol Hybrid Hot Water Storage Heater)
An air-conditioner's outdoor unit throws heat away to cool your room. The Pecol Hybrid Hot Water Storage Heater connects to a split air-conditioner and uses that rejected heat to warm a storage tank. Benefits listed in Pecol's brochure include:

Heat pump with solar panels
